This website is always under construction and new photos are added regularly. In the website you will find different videos of me making my work and photo slide shows. The slide shows will show an assortment of work and can help you if you decide to buy a custom piece. I make all the frames so, no size is to large or irregular. In the upcoming months i will have my new work photographed and on the website for sale. For now, if you have any questions about new work, i will take pictures of what I have and upload them. I am excited about the direction my art is going and look forward to sharing them. I am currently out of New Orleans and living in San Francisco. There are three ingredients to all painting: paint, technique, and clean space. So one way of thinking of painting is as a method for producing a novel use of space. Space is finite, but not technique. Some painters trouble the distinction and relationship between foreground and background, others the dynamic arrangement of positive, neutral, and negative space. What your painting technique does is quite above and beyond the prevailing techniques of abstraction, figuration, and minimalism. By deploying sheets of epoxy in a complex arrangement of layers and levels you actually create space within your paintings. The texture and depth of your expression is made possible by these created layers and levels of space. I enjoy most the movement trapped within your lines, and the high sheen of the energy you wrestle into your work. Your paintings push back, at the viewer, shimmering like a field at play.
